Warranty and Limitation of Liability

Sun-A-Ray Technologies, LLC (Sun-A-Ray) warrants to the original customer that following

 1 year labor & materials for the entire system

 5 years materials only for motor & controllers

 10 years materials only for bearings & bushings

 20 years for structural defects in materials & workmanship (excluding finish)

At its option, Sun-A-Ray will repair or replace at no charge any Sun-A-Ray mounting system or component of the mounting system that proves to be defective within such warranty period. This warranty shall not apply if the Sun-A-Ray product has been damaged by unreasonable use, accident, negligence, improper installation, severe weather conditions such as excessive wind, ice, storms or other acts of nature, service or modification by anyone other than Sun-A-Ray, more modules mounted on the Sun-A-Ray than it was designed for, damage due to improper packaging on return shipment, or by any other causes unrelated to materials and workmanship.

The original consumer must retain original purchase receipt for proof of purchase as a condition precedent to warranty coverage. The product must be accompanied by proof of purchase and Return Authorization (RA) number issued by Sun-A-Ray. Sun-A-Ray will pay all shipping charges to return any defective Sun-A-Ray product or component under this warranty policy. For an RA number and call tag, contact Sun-A-Ray at

SUN-A-RAY MAKES NO WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WHICH EXCEEDS THE INTENDED USE AS DESIGNED BY SUN-A-RAY. SUN-A-RAY WILL NOT BE LIABILE FOR ANY CONSQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOSS OR EXPENSE ARISING IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF OR THE INABILITY TO USE ITS GOODS FOR ANY PURPOSE OTHER THAN WHAT IT IS DESIGNED FOR. SUN-A-RAY’S MAXIMUM LIABILITY SHALL NOT, IN ANY CASE, EXCEED THE CONTRACT PRICE FOR THE GOODS CLAIMED TO BE DEFECTIVE OR UNSUITABLE.

Any and all labor charges for troubleshooting, removal or replacement of the array and/or components of the array are not covered by this warranty and will not be honored by Sun-A-Ray Technologies, LLC. Products will be considered accepted by customer unless written notice to the contrary is given to Sun-A-Ray within ten (10) days of such delivery to customer. Sun-A-Ray shall not in any case be liable for any event occurring or defect discovered with regard to said product unless written notice thereof is give to Sun-A-Ray within ninety (90) days of such product delivery to customer.

Sun-A-Ray is not responsible for loss or damage to products owned by customer and located on Sun-A-Ray’s premises caused by fire or other casualties beyond Sun-A-Ray’s control.
